Antelope Canyon is a photographer's dream. The sandstone rocks were carved out by flash floods, exposing the colourful layers and forming the smooth wavy walls of the slot canyon. Antelope Canyon is split into two sections, the upper or 'the crack' and the lower or 'the corkscrew'. Both sections are located on Navajo land in Lake Powell Navajo Tribal Park in Arizona and can only be visited with a tour guide.
