No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower. Built in 1889 for the World Fair, the monumental tower is named after the engineer and his team who designed and built it, Gustave Eiffel. Pictured here at sunrise, it is particularly beautiful but it can be viewed from many spots around the city, day and night.
