Stormy weather blows in giant waves at Grand Haven, Michigan. It is at this point that the Grand River enters Lake Michigan, one of the three 'great lakes' between the US and Canada. Having said that, the great lakes are more like inland seas than lakes. There has been a lighthouse on this spot since 1839.
