About this photo
The Pinnacles Desert, located within Nambung National Park, is a bizarre sight – a world of limestone spires all rising from smooth sand dunes.
When Dutch explorers first saw the Pinnacles from their vessels, they thought they had found the ruins of a long-deserted city. In fact, they are entirely natural.
