March 1st is the feast day of St David, patron saint of Wales, so we wanted to say 'Dydd Gwyl Dewi hapus!' (Happy St David's Day) to all our Welsh readers.

St David's Day is celebrated by Welsh people all over the world, wearing either of the national emblems, a daffodil or a leek. The day's celebrations usually include concerts (notably the St David's Day Gala Concert with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales at St David's Hall in Cardiff), parades and other festivities.
