Look out for late-night events at museums across Europe this weekend. In the UK, the event is called Museums at Night and runs from 18–20 May 2012. Across much of the rest of the continent, the Nuit européenne des musées (European Museum Night) is being held on Saturday 19 May only. Late openings, candlelight tours, special events and (mostly) free entry are all aimed at enticing potential culture vultures to join in the fun.
