About this photo

The flag tower atop Lung Cu mountain (1,700m) is found at Vietnam's northernmost point, right by the border with China. It was erected in 2010 and visitors can ascend the mountain by climbing over 520 steps to admire the stunning views of surrounding rice terraces and the Nho Que River snaking below. If visiting northern Vietnam, the climb to the flag tower is a must-do, as well as a drive through the region's stunning landscapes.
