Welcome back to Insight Guides: the Travel Podcast. For the penultimate episode in the series, we head to the enchanting nation of India. 

In this week’s episode, we speak to the BBC’s former sports editor, award-winning journalist and author Mihir Bose, who shares his expertise on the nation's favourite sport – cricket. 

Mihir talks us through India’s history of the game, from losing their first test match in 1932 to their 1983 World Cup win, concluding with a look at where India stands today in the cricketing world. Having grown up playing and watching the sport himself, he also shares his top tips on where best to experience cricket in India for yourself.
